International Falls has received national attention for its annual run. This four-day winter festival fondly known as “IceBox Days” is packed full of fun and wacky games for visitors and community members of all ages.

The "Freeze Yer Gizzard Blizzard Run," a 10K and 5K race is a celebration of winter running that has been covered by television stations and several magazines including Runner's World.

Featured events in this cold weather festival include frozen turkey bowling, snow sculpting, smoosh races, snowshoeing in Voyageurs National Park, Beach Party and much more.
